Ministry of Health celebrates Innovation Month in UAE by introducing WhatsApp service for birth certificate issuance and collaborative browsing
DUBAI, 23 February 2022 – The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has highlighted the latest developments introduced in the WhatsApp service for birth certificate issuance and collaborative browsing as well as predictive support for options client as part of its celebration of UAE Innovation Month 2022.
The ministry pointed out that its innovative services will certainly enrich the experience of customers and promote smooth and streamlined communication channels based on advanced systems while adopting international best practices.
“This is in line with our commitment to play a central role in achieving digital government goals,” the ministry said.
The WhatsApp service relies on artificial intelligence techniques to efficiently respond to customer inquiries through a virtual assistant, making it easy and fast for everyone to benefit from the service.
Through this particular service, customers will now be able to receive birth certificates without having to visit one of MoHAP’s customer service centers.
Equally important, the service is end-to-end encrypted in an authenticated “WhatsApp” account, which means the highest levels of security and reliability are guaranteed.
In addition, the innovative collaborative navigation service covers two of the ministry’s priority services, namely the evaluation of health professionals and the accreditation of pharmaceutical establishments.
The new service will enable the customer support team to serve customers efficiently by giving them access to customer screens to guide and direct them through the service, fill out forms on their behalf and cooperate with them in real time.
The service also provides video calling and visual communication, instant chat and illustration tools with the ability to share required files, among other features that would lead to a faster solution to complete customer transactions.
Highlighting the importance of the UAE Innovation Month, Abdullah Ahli, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector, pointed out that the annual occasion provides an ideal opportunity to shed light on the latest developments introduced in MoHAP’s innovative services to ensure customer satisfaction, adding that these smart services and applications will further fuel the ministry’s efforts to accelerate the digital transformation process.
“The ministry is making every effort to keep pace with the latest technological developments, adopt the latest artificial intelligence techniques and use smart predictive techniques to analyze data and digitize government work in line with best practices and international standards and the fourth industrial revolution,” says Ahli.
