Covid cases soar in India; According to the Ministry of Health, 70% of deaths are due to comorbidities

Meanwhile, a school in Tamil Nadu has become a Covid hotspot after 31 pupils tested positive for the infection.

According to an ANI report, cases were discovered in a public school in Theni district. Reports say 10 parents have also tested positive.

The health department has asked students and parents to self-isolate to avoid another outbreak of the pandemic.
