Ministry of New and Renewable Energy Recruitment 2022: The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy is recruiting candidates for the position of Undersecretary. There is only 01 vacant seat available. The age limit for this position is 56 years old. The selected candidate will be responsible for setting the agenda and preparing issue notes, preparing draft documents and final reports, interdepartmental coordination, a study of the experience of the presidencies previous G20 meetings and coordination with G20 tracks, working groups, organizations, engagement groups and knowledge partners. In addition, the selected candidate will also be expected to take on the responsibilities of organizing G20 meetings and events and any other duties assigned by the Head of Division.

Teaching degree: Officers of central government, self-governing bodies, recognized universities or research institutes regularly occupying similar positions in the home setting or department; or with five years of service in the grade rendered after appointment on a regular basis to a position at level IO in the remuneration matrix or equivalent in the parent framework or department and possessing the following qualification and experience, namely:

I. Degree from a recognized university; and

ii. Five years of experience in managing renewable energy (RE) sector issues and policies.

Desirable experience:

I. Experience in managing international files.

ii. Possess good analytical skills and have experience in policy development.

iii. Possess good oral and writing skills in English.

iv. Familiarity with the use of computers/digital communication.
