Bandi calls for the ousting of Harish Rao from the Ministry of Health

Hyderabad: BJP State Chairman Bandi Sanjay Kumar has claimed Telangana Health Minister T Harish Rao and State Director of Public Service (DPH) G Srinivasa Rao are responsible of the deaths of four women in the Ibrahimpatnam family planning operation.

Sanjay has asked Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to immediately sack and suspend Medical Department Director and Health Minister Rao.

“Empty statements are not enough. If the CM really cares, they should issue suspensions,” Sanjay said.

Sanjay further claimed that even suicides due to poverty and deaths due to government neglect have been normalized in Telangana.

“All victims of family planning surgery are working poor. It hurts to visit them. In addition, the Director of Health, who is responsible for this incident, will be appointed as the investigating officer of the same problem. Isn’t it like giving keys to a thief? asked Sanjay.

The BJP leader argued that there is strong confidence among the officials that whatever they do, the TRS government will appoint them as MLCs in the future.

Sanjay further claimed that no female doctors were present at the surgery camp. At least no tests were performed by female doctors on the victims.

“Shouldn’t Health Minister Harish Rao be held accountable? Sanjay asked.
